In July, TikTok launched its self-serve ads manager and pledged to donate up to $100 million in ad credits to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB). Eligible SMBs can apply for a one-time $300 ad credit and TikTok has promised to match any additional spending dollar-for-dollar up to $2000 through the end of 2020. That’s kind of a big deal for SMBs and TikTok as they lobby for ad spend dollars dominated by Facebook.
